Quinta da Pacheca is one of the most prestigious and recognized port wine estates in the Douro region. The history of the Quinta da Pacheca winery goes back to the 18th century, when the port wine estate was first mentioned in a document dating back to April 1738. Today, Quinta da Pacheca's has many different port wines in its range, ranging from the very young ruby and white ports and up to both 30, 40 and 50-year-old tawny ports.

Here you get a delicate tawny port wine which is a blend of different mature wines, matured for an average of 20 years in 550 liter port pipes barrels in the warehouses of Quinta da Pacheca in the Douro Valley in Portugal. During the maturation process, the wine acquires its characteristic amber color and aroma from the long-term oxidation.

They are a very elegant wine with a fresh nose, notes of menthol and nuts, caramel and chocolate. It has a rich taste in the mouth with good acidity that gives the sweet taste freshness and a long finish. The wine is exceptionally well accompanied by cheeses, chocolate desserts and fruits, as it is a sweet wine.

The wine contains 20% alcohol and is optimally served at 16-18 degrees.
